Stephen Lewis, who played Blakey in On the Buses, has died aged 88.

The BBC has axed Paul Whitehouse's TV comedy-drama Nurse.

Comedians have launched a public campaign to persuade the Arts Council to relax its blanket ban on funding comedy.

And a forgotten TV drama in which Rik Mayall played a racist cop is to be released on DVD on Monday
